Focus on the Sustainability Report
All of a sudden three months in the market department has passed and wow! I’ve had a great time and have learned a lot.
My main focus has been the sustainability report for 2019. As I mentioned in my first blogpost, sustainability is a big interest to me personally, so I have really enjoyed this project.
I started the project by reading and reviewing a lot of different sustainability reports. This way I received inspiration for activities and new ways for us to present our material. I tried to read reports from both within the industry but also from other industries to get different perspectives.
A big part of my work have been collecting the right type of information and to compile what numbers we want to present. Our sustainability report is a common report of the whole group so there is a need to have a good balance between our different operations. I have had ongoing reconciliations with our Head of Marketing Communication, Kasia. We have had a lot of interesting conversations about what content we want to include and in what way we want to present it. I also had a meeting with our Group CEO Hans to ensure that we have the right material for creating a good report.

Something I appreciate with Thomas is that everyone is very helpful. My project with the report has enabled many interesting meetings with different people from the organization. I want to send a special thanks to all the people that have helped me find the right numbers and have been devoted their time to me!
At this point, we have come a long way, but there are still a few elements that need to be done before we have a ready report. It will be a very cool feeling to see the final report in the spring of 2020. I hope you all will take your time to read it.
The next block in my trainee program is Precast. It will be very exciting to gain more knowledge about this business area as I feel that I do not currently have it.
