My name is Pascal, I’m 34 years old. I live near Hamburg with my girlfriend and our dog. In my free time, I enjoy playing handball and Gaelic football. Last year, I had the exciting opportunity to play in the Gaelic football World Cup for Germany. It was a really fun experience, playing in Derry and competing against teams like one from Stockholm, among others.
I work in sales service. My job involves supporting the sales representatives by creating offers, evaluating statistics to see how much we sold last month, and determining prices together with them. I also manage invoice queries, where I review discrepancies or issues raised by customers. If a customer believes there has been a mistake, I investigate the matter and communicate the findings back to them.
I usually start between 6 and 7 in the morning. The first thing I do is check my emails for any questions from customers or representatives, and see if there are any offers or orders that need attention. I also communicate with the sales representatives and regional managers to provide any necessary support. Each day is quite unique because we often have to address issues as they arise. Most offers need to be sent within 24 hours, and invoice queries are often urgent too. It’s challenging to plan the week in advance, but we usually manage by anticipating any potential issues and being flexible.
