Thank you for a great year!

It has now been just over a year since I started at Thomas Concrete Group, and this means that my time as a trainee is over. Tomorrow I will start my new position as a project manager in Prefab at Thomas Betong Sweden. This means that as a project manager, I will, among other things, check and handle issues regarding documentation and delivery plans and be in contact with the customer, production, and any external consultants. It also means that I will change offices, so from tomorrow I will be located at the office on Ringön in Gothenburg. I am really looking forward to starting my new position and all the challenges and lessons it will bring.

As just mentioned, today is my last day as a trainee and I have reflected a bit on everything I have got to experience over this past year. Everything from being out on construction sites during castings and working in the Prefab factories, to writing the sustainability report and learning a lot of new things about business finance. Not to mention spending three months in Germany. I have really learned so much during the year and at the same time, I have also had a lot of fun.

Having been around so many different parts of the company, one thing is for sure. The employees who work in team Thomas are incredibly friendly and talented people. It is everyone who works in the organization every day, regardless of role, who makes the company successful. And basically everyone does it with a smile on their face. So I want to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who has taken the time to teach me, show me around, and answer all my questions during this past year.
