In 2015, Thomas Concrete Group decided it was time to develop a trainee program. Our main focus was to find candidates that we believed could have personal development within the company culture and become an important part of the team. We looked for individuals that could join the newly started development journey and contribute to the organization by showing strong commitment and engagement from day one. Personality and drive was more important than their educational background. With that in mind we stood to welcome Thomas Concrete Group’s first trainees – Anna von Krusenstierna (2016), Tove Pettersson (2016), Aron Hwang (2018), Ida Adolfsson (2019), Anna Eliason (2020), and Eva Kultje (2021).
It is a one-year long trainee program. During this time the trainees gain a wide knowledge of our organization, different business areas, work methods and our company culture. The program consists of different rotations. They each do one rotation at Thomas Concrete Group and Thomas Betong’s two business areas Concrete and Precast as well as Thomas Betong’s main office. The trainees finish off the year with going to either Thomas Concrete in USA, Thomas Beton in Germany or Thomas Beton in Poland.
