The Szczecin Philharmonic Hall is a technically demanding and architecturally distinctive project, completed in 2014 and awarded the EU Mies van der Rohe Award in 2015.
Thomas Beton S.p z.o.o supplied approximately 14,000 m³ of concrete for this project. A wide range of high-performance concrete solutions was required, including watertight, tremie, architectural, and high early strength concrete. These were used throughout the structure, from the foundations to the vertical elements, ensuring durability, strength, and precise execution.
Today, the Philharmonic Hall not only serves as a venue for music and culture but also stands as a lasting example of how concrete can contribute to creating sustainable, resilient, and visually striking structures in modern urban environments.
