Snow and concrete are the foundation for great experiences. In the mountains, weather and wind place high demands on both function and construction. Building a mountain lodge in the middle of Norway’s most beloved sports destination presents complex challenges, but it also means freedom. The freedom to strap on your skis right outside the door. We are not just building a house. We are setting a new standard for modern mountain living and creating a place where you can do everything.

In Norway’s largest ski resort Trysil, conveniently located within gliding distance from both lifts and cross-country ski tracks, lies Trysil Alpine Lodge. The project consists of 95 apartments of varying sizes. Between 2021 and 2023, Thomas Betong has delivered a total of almost 10,000 m² of slabs to the satisfied customer Martin M. Bakken.

In Trysil’s Tourist Center, at the heart of the ski resort and within a comfortable gliding distance from both lifts and miles of cross-country ski tracks, lies Trysil Alpine Lodge. Here, Trysil Alpine Lodge AS is constructing an apartment complex with a total of 95 apartments of varying sizes.

The architecture is a mix between the American lodge feel and Norwegian design. The ambition has been to create a warm and social place with all conveniences in close proximity to the accommodation. Underneath the building, there is both ski storage and a parking garage.

Norway’s largest ski resort is growing with the help of flat bearing layers from Thomas Betong.
