As part of our 70th anniversary celebration, we’re meeting some of the employees who have been our colleagues the longest. Read about their career journeys, experiences, and how the daily work has evolved over the years!

Say hello to Marek!

When did you start working at Thomas Beton Sp. z o.o.?

I started on May 17, 1999.

What was your first role, and what is your current role?

I began as a concrete truck driver, but soon transitioned to working as a pump operator. I’ve remained in that role ever since.

“I’m proud to be part of Team Thomas and to contribute to building the company every day.”

What does a typical workday look like for you?

I’m responsible for pumping concrete at construction sites and ensuring that the equipment is well-maintained. I really enjoy my work and see myself as a representative of Team Thomas when I’m out with customers.

Tell us a little about yourself.

I’m 64 years old and live in Chojna, near Szczecin. In my free time, I enjoy working on cars and spending time in nature.

How has the company changed since you started?

A lot has changed! It’s exciting to see the company grow and evolve, especially in terms of the vehicle fleet and equipment. We drivers and pump operators are constantly learning new things.

What has made you enjoy your work and stay with the company for so long?

I enjoy interacting with customers and supporting both them and my colleagues. We have excellent teamwork. Not just within my team, but also with the plant staff. I’m proud to be part of Team Thomas and to contribute to building the company every day.
