Say hello to Piotr Kmiecik!
When did you start working at Thomas Beton Sp. z o.o.?
I started in May 1999.
What was your first role, and what is your current role?
I began as an operator at the concrete station in Elbląg, and I still hold that position today.
“I’m proud to represent Team Thomas. It’s a name that’s becoming increasingly well-known in Poland, and it feels great to be part of that journey.”

What does a typical workday look like for you?
I’m responsible for concrete production and the logistics surrounding deliveries.
Tell us a little about yourself.
I’m 51 years old and live in Elbląg. In my free time, I really enjoy traveling.
Share a memorable moment from your time at the company.
I clearly remember when Martin Thomas visited the Elbląg station. He said it was one of the best sites he had seen for a concrete station and that he saw great potential. That moment felt very special.
How would you describe the company when you first started? What’s the biggest change since then?
When I started, our station was part of the Gdańsk division. There were no mobile phones at the plant or on construction sites, so logistics were much more complicated. Today, everything is far more digital and efficient.
What has made you enjoy your work and stay with the company for so long?
I’m proud to represent Team Thomas. It’s a name that’s becoming increasingly well-known in Poland, and it feels great to be part of that journey.
