At Thomas Concrete Group, people are at the heart of everything we do. We believe in building for the future. Not only by delivering sustainable and innovative solutions, but also by investing in the next generation of talent. This is why we're so committed to our trainee program.

A tailored program

The trainee program is designed to provide both breadth and depth in the business, offering a solid understanding of our core values. We bring in no more than 1-2 trainees per year, allowing us to customize the program to fit each individual’s background and ambitions. We want our trainees to grow, both professionally and personally.

Throughout the program, trainees build practical experience in various roles across our business areas and at our headquarters in Gothenburg. The year concludes with an international placement at one of our companies in the USA, Germany, or Poland, offering valuable insights into our global operations while supporting their professional growth.

With our CEO as a mentor, trainees gain invaluable insights and experiences. This setup fosters a strong connection to our culture, values, and long-term goals.

For ambitious minds

We select a few exceptional individuals who are given the unique opportunity to join our trainee program. Our trainees don’t just feel welcomed; they feel seen. And yes, they quickly become well-known figures within the company. During the year as a trainee, they get to know many wonderful colleagues and build valuable connections both in Sweden and internationally.

When we look for new trainees, we focus on identifying and developing individuals who share our values and our ambition for the future of the construction industry. The goal is to develop people who see the immense potential in our field and are committed to working towards a climate-neutral future. With the right attitude and dedication, the possibilities are endless.

Several of our past trainees have gone on to take leadership roles, such as production managers or business developers. The trainee program is therefore not just a starting point in the career, it’s also a pathway into a global company working towards a climate-neutral construction industry.

We look forward to welcoming new talent to us and our trainee program. The next intake will take place in the fall of 2026, and we are excited to offer a truly exceptional program within our fantastic Team Thomas.
