The reinforcement of the riverbank in the city of Elbląg provides effective protection against flooding. Through a technically advanced process, Team Thomas poured over 55,000 m³ of concrete, delivered via a floating pipeline. The customized hydro-technical concrete has specific properties that make it perfectly suited for the project.

The work is part of the Elbląg Waterway, which improves navigation between the Vistula Lagoon and the Gulf of Gdańsk. Since several sections of the riverbank were difficult to access from land, the concrete was pumped through a pipeline floating on the river. This required customized concrete mixes, careful planning, and close coordination to ensure consistent quality and continuous delivery. Through technical expertise and reliable deliveries, Thomas Beton contributed to safer shipping and long-term flood protection.
