The Atlanta Databank 4 project in Atlanta, GA, used THOMAGREEN concrete mixes enhanced with fly ash, slag, and CarbonCure technology. Delivered in collaboration with Brasfield & Gorrie, the project involved a total of 22,597 cubic yards of concrete by Thomas Concrete Inc..
Most of the concrete poured featured 3-way mix designs with 50% supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs), resulting in a 30% reduction in embodied carbon compared to the NRMCA regional baseline. Overall, the project achieved a 40% reduction in CO₂ emissions, marking a significant step toward more sustainable construction practices.
