Low-carbon concrete from Thomas Concrete Inc supports essential infrastructure for the Raleigh, NC community.

Thomas Concrete Inc. is proud to play a part in the development of the new Wake County Public Health Center and its adjacent parking structure—two facilities designed to improve access to vital services for the local community.

For this project, we delivered 4,862 cubic yards of our THOMAGREEN mixes, incorporating fly ash and CarbonCure technology. These low-carbon concrete solutions enabled a 30% reduction in CO₂ emissions, supporting the project’s sustainability goals while maintaining the high performance required for public infrastructure.

In total, 6,197 cubic yards of concrete were poured—underscoring the scale and impact of this important community investment.

Located along Swinburne Street, the 154,000-square-foot health center and five-level parking deck are designed to serve Wake County residents with improved accessibility and a more streamlined experience.

We are proud to support this community-focused development with low-carbon concrete solutions that align with long-term environmental and social impact goals.
