Thomas Concrete Group expands in the U.S. – acquires assets of a well-known concrete company

Thomas Concrete Group’s U.S. subsidiary has acquired the assets of two of Ford´s Redi-Mix concrete plants in South Carolina, U.S. The assets will be integrated into Thomas Concrete’s existing operations in Charleston and will strengthen the Group’s investments in the U.S. market. The acquisition was completed on January 30th.

Thomas Concrete Group supplies concrete for major highway project in Poland

Thomas Concrete Group’s Polish subsidiary, Thomas Beton, has develop and begun deliveries of concrete for a large-scale highway project in northwestern Poland. The project involves the construction of a new section of the national road DK 13, aimed at improving traffic flow between Szczecin and the Polish–German border.

Thomas Beton GmbH, part of Thomas Concrete Group, has delivered 7,500 m³ of concrete to a newly built wind farm in Gnutz-Timmaspe in northern Germany. The project comprises 14 turbines, 12 of which have been provided with concrete foundations from Thomas Beton. Through this project, the company further strengthens its position in the growing wind power segment in Germany.
