For the power plant, located in Grudziądz, Thomas Beton delivered till now approx. 41.000 cubic meters of concrete including 4.550 cubic meters for three key stages of the foundation works.
“This was a technically demanding project with high requirements for delivery reliability, quality and coordination. Being able to contribute during several critical stages of the foundation works demonstrates the strength of our local presence and our capacity to manage large and complex energy projects,” says Zenobia Maciejewska Regional Director in the Region Central, Thomas Beton in Poland.
The concrete was produced at four of Thomas Beton’s plants. During the casting works, three concrete pumps and 43 concrete trucks were used, ensuring continuous deliveries as well as full control over quality and logistics.
The power plant was commissioned at the end of 2025 and is expected to reach full capacity during 2026. It will supply energy to more than one million households while combining high efficiency with limited environmental impact. The project in Grudziądz is one of the largest energy investments in Poland.
