Who are you?
My name is Damion Sumlin Sr., and I live in the Powder Springs, Georgia area. Outside of work, I enjoy both saltwater and freshwater fishing, as well as traveling.

Tell us about your work-role
I currently serve as an Environmental Health and Safety Manager. In this role, I am responsible for supporting our operations through plant visits, engagement with CDPs, jobsite evaluations, and comprehensive plant walkthroughs to identify and mitigate potential hazards. I also oversee property, automotive, and injury investigations to ensure accurate reporting and continuous improvement.
What does a typical workday look like for you?
My days are a mix of time spent out in our plants and at jobsites, working directly with teams to review conditions that affect health and safety. I also follow up on investigations and evaluations, using what we learn to continuously strengthen our safety processes across the organization.

The most rewarding part of my role is contributing to our strong safety culture and helping ensure the safety, well being, and engagement of our team members as they perform their daily work.
