Say hello to Pernilla Kamperin!
Who are you?
My name is Pernilla Kamperin, soon to be 53 years old. I live in a house in Kungälv with my husband, one son still at home, and our two Italian Greyhounds. We also have two adult sons who have moved out. I am fortunate to have become a grandmother to a wonderful little girl who is 18 months old. My big hobby is growing flowers, especially dahlias but also other cut flowers. In my free time, I enjoy being creative, painting, and working in the garden when it’s in season. I also spend a lot of time walking in the forest with the dogs.

Tell us about your work-role
I work as the Operations Manager at C-lab. In this role, I am responsible for the laboratory’s technical operations, the long-term planning of new methods and equipment, as well as digitalization and the streamlining of workflows. I am also responsible for forecasting, invoicing, and coding of invoices, among other administrative tasks.
What does a typical workday look like for you?
It varies from day to day. Everything from validating laboratory data systems, the C-lab portal, and financial systems when changes are made, to creating process maps and business cases. Process improvements and digitalization efforts are ongoing, as well as sending invoices to our customers. There is also some form of customer contact almost every day.
How long have you been at C-lab?
Since August 2007.
What is the best thing about being a part of Team Thomas and working at C-lab?
That I have had the opportunity to try different roles within the same department (C-lab), as well as to lead the digitalization and efficiency journey we have started, is so much fun. Seeing workflows become more efficient, more quality-assured, and easier for the staff feels incredibly rewarding, and the wonderful colleagues I meet every day.
