Who are you?
My name is Janna Karlsson. I am a curious, social, and goal-oriented animal lover who laughs easily. I enjoy learning new things and discovering new places. Good food and great company are always important to me as well.

Tell us about your work-role
I work as a Product Developer within Precast at Thomas Betong, focusing on ensuring that our precast concrete products remain at the forefront from an environmental perspective. A key part of my role is contributing to the development of concrete products with the lowest possible climate impact.
What does a typical workday look like for you?
My workdays include identifying and analyzing potential areas for improvement, developing life cycle assessments and EPDs (environmental product declarations), and preparing and following up on tests with different types of low-carbon concrete. I also work with keeping our precast products updated in various environmental assessment systems.
What is the best thing about being a part of Team Thomas and working at Thomas Betong?
It is exciting to be involved in developing concrete products with the lowest possible climate impact. The concrete industry has set ambitious climate targets, including the goal of having climate-neutral concrete on the market by 2030. Supporting this goal is a natural choice for Thomas Betong and something that makes me a proud employee. I also enjoy working with colleagues who are motivated to produce and sell low-carbon products to our customers.
