Halftime with the marketing department

Today, I have been working with the marketing department for six weeks together with our marketing manager Kasia. It has been a very eventful time! I get to support and run several exciting projects. My main project during this period of the trainee program is to compose this year's sustainability report together with our awesome sustainability manager Karin. This project suits me well since sustainability issues have always interested me, and Karin has an incredible amount of knowledge and interesting ideas to share. Since the sustainability report contains material from all our subsidiaries, I get to have close contact with our colleagues in the USA, Poland and Germany, which is very fun and rewarding!

In addition to the sustainability report, I am helping our marketing department create a presentation of Thomas Concrete Group. The presentation consists of a powerpoint and a video that we are producing together with a local brand and design agency. I am also assisting with search engine optimizing our website, managing our #seenthomas contest, analyzing our social media accounts, and much more. A couple of weeks ago I had a very interesting in-depth conversation with our CEO Hans about leadership, and I spent a day at C-Lab where I learned more about concrete from Ingemar, our research and development manager.

My schedule is busy but I am having so much fun, and I am learning new things every day!
